The 10 best restaurants in Wilton, NY

Most people eating in Wilton do not know they are in Wilton. The town sits just north of the City of Saratoga Springs, and its restaurants mostly carry Saratoga Springs or Gansevoort mailing addresses. Wilton’s dining runs along two corridors: the Route 50 strip around the Wilton Mall and Exit 15, and Route 9 north of the city toward Exit 16. The mix runs from a French restaurant a family has run since 1964 to a diner known for tamales and a tavern where every dish can be made gluten-free.

This list is for Wilton neighbors and for anyone in Saratoga Springs willing to drive a few minutes north. Every entry is inside the Town of Wilton, confirmed with state boundary data, and each says so even when the address says otherwise.

How we chose

We looked for independent restaurants with a steady local reputation, local press coverage and staying power, and checked each address against New York State boundary data to make sure the restaurant is in the Town of Wilton. Each one was confirmed open as of early October 2026 from the restaurant’s own website, ordering page or 2026 local press, and prices and hours come from those sources. Chains were left off. The list is unranked and in alphabetical order, and no restaurant paid to be included.

Hours, prices and dates below come from each business or official source and change without notice. Call ahead if you are making a special trip.

Artisanal Brew Works

Beer brewed on site meets a full bistro menu at Artisanal Brew Works, home of Nature’s Edge Bistro on Maple Avenue in the Town of Wilton (the mailing address reads Saratoga Springs). Place food orders at the bar.
