The 10 best sushi restaurants in Saratoga Springs

Most of the sushi in Saratoga Springs is downtown, on Lake Avenue, Congress Street, Phila Street, Putnam Street and Broadway, with one more spot down South Broadway. The choices run from a chef’s-choice omakase counter to hibachi dining rooms where the sushi bar works next to the grill, and from $5 vegetable rolls to sushi boats meant for a whole table.

This list is for locals hunting for a new roll and visitors who want something other than steak after the track. Six of the ten are in the city. Two are in Malta, including Kawa Japanese Bistro, which opened Sept. 19, 2026. The other two have Saratoga Springs mailing addresses but sit in the Town of Wilton, and each entry says where.

How we chose

We looked for restaurants where sushi is a main reason to go, with a steady local reputation and local press coverage. Each one was confirmed open as of early October 2026 from the restaurant’s own website or ordering page and a 2026 source, and prices and hours come from those pages. Grocery-store sushi counters and chains were left off. The list is unranked and in alphabetical order, and no restaurant paid to be included.

Hours, prices and dates below come from each business or official source and change without notice. Call ahead if you are making a special trip.
