The Silo is a breakfast and lunch restaurant and country gift shop at 537 Aviation Road in Queensbury, a quarter mile off Northway Exit 19. The restaurant has operated in its rebuilt silo since 1982 and draws both locals and travelers headed to Lake George and the Adirondacks.
The menu is built on oversized omelets, home fries and Silo Original deli sandwiches, with fresh cider donuts made year-round, and portions run large at prices that stay modest. There are no reservations; seating is first come, first served, and the gift shop full of country goods and gadgets gives waiting parties something to browse.
