The Gideon Putnam

The Gideon Putnam is a historic hotel inside Saratoga Spa State Park at 24 Gideon Putnam Road, a short walk from the Roosevelt Baths & Spa and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. It opened in 1935 as part of the state’s spa buildout and is named for Gideon Putnam, a founder of Saratoga Springs.

The five-story Georgian Revival hotel was designed by Albany architect Marcus T. Reynolds and has 124 rooms, including suites, plus a restaurant and bar and event space for weddings and conferences. Delaware North manages the hotel for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and renovated all the guest rooms for its 90th anniversary in 2025.
