Shenendehowa Central Schools

The Shenendehowa Central School District is the public school district for Clifton Park, Halfmoon and parts of neighboring towns in southern Saratoga County, with district offices at 5 Chelsea Place in Clifton Park. Shen, as everyone calls it, is one of the largest districts in the Capital Region with about 9,300 students in eight elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school.

Most of the schools sit on a shared campus along Route 146, including Acadia Middle School and Tesago Elementary at 970 Route 146. The district runs universal pre-K, career and technical education, an aquatics program and a large athletics department, and posts budgets, tax information, school attendance by street and board of education materials online.
