Crandall Public Library
About
Crandall Public Library is the public library for Glens Falls, Queensbury and Moreau, at 251 Glen Street on City Park in downtown Glens Falls. The library was endowed in the 1890s by Henry Crandall, the lumber baron who also gave the city Crandall Park, and the building was expanded and renovated in the 2000s.
Along with books, digital titles and programs for all ages, the library houses the Folklife Center, which documents the culture and history of the southern Adirondacks through archives, exhibits and concerts. Meeting rooms, computers and local history and genealogy resources round out the building.
