Congress Park
About
Congress Park is the public park at the south end of Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs, where Broadway meets Spring Street and Circular Street. It is the city’s founding green space, built around Congress Spring, which was discovered in 1792.
Paved paths loop past ponds, lawns and the brick Canfield Casino, a former gambling house that now holds the Saratoga Springs History Museum. The park and casino together form a National Historic Landmark district, and a wooden carousel more than a century old runs in season.
