Washington County is the rural county east of Saratoga County, between the Hudson River and Vermont, with its government seat at 383 Broadway in Fort Edward. The county’s tourism office markets it as the place where the Hudson meets the Adirondacks, a short drive from most Northeast cities and between Saratoga and Lake George.
